Towards the end of October fjords in the Arctic Norway fill with an enormous quantity of herring, which in turn attracts thousands of whales. It's estimated that as many as 1500 killer whales (orcas) come to area of Skjervoy for the herring run feast. Hundreds of humpbacks follow them too, as well as vast number of seals and countless birds. For the next 3 months this region hosts an incredible spectacle of marine wildlife.
